The Games Industry,
The recession has hit hard all over the world in recent times, yet fortunately for the games industry. It seems to have come through the tunnel reasonably unscathed. This is a promising sign that the games industry is healthy and growing at a comfortable rate. Since it's birth, the gaming industry has changed drastically, from being a dominantly science based production it has become an artistic battleground, rivalling that of the film industry. New and promising artists are always in demand as visual aesthetics are improving year after year. The need for talent that are specialized in gaming software is becoming increasingly favoured. The market is getting alot more unique and requires young talent to be aware of the constant technological developments. The future is looking alot brighter for our degree than it is for others, I'm glad i didn't choose banking and finance.
