Game developers conference.

The game developers conference, perhaps the most influential and informative conference to attend when interested in the games industry. When skimming through the countless conferences and exhibitions, I encountered a particularly interesting article involving the reboot of existing franchises; Batman: Arkham Asylum: Rebooting a super hero video game. This to me
appeals as a very important topic for developers. Being able to reboot a franchise, especially something as popular as Batman, shows a tremendous amount of creativity. Maintaining an idea, whilst keeping it original, fresh and appealing. This is a great future for game design. It shows us that there is a market for lost stories and characters, and it is possible to be become very succesful pursuing it.

A presentation like this would provide a valuable insight for any young and current game developer as it seems to be constant theme within the marketing sectors of the games industry. Great ideas never die, and this presentation suggests that is a possibility to reinvision an old idea through the use of visual design and creativity. It's an amazing feat to accomplish
in the modern climate, and I personally find it inspiring.
