Feedback.

Ever since embarking upon my first year studying game art, I have always felt that the course is spot on. I feel I have progressed as an artist, become more confident around gaming technology and more aware of gaming in society thanks to the consistent and relevant course structure. My only concerns would be raised around how well my fellow students in the first year know each other. The course has been very intensive from day one and has left little room for social acitvites, group work or cooperation between students in an interactive environment. Obviosuly tutors cannot control the social skills of their students but often an icebreaker at the beginning of the year, makes everyone feel alot more comfortable in studio and prepares them for the year ahead. So far, It has been great meeting people with similar interests and who are aiming for the same profession as you, its a great setup for making friendship but sometimes we need a push.

Overall, the year has proven very enjoyable, educational and inspiring. The tutors have provided me witha greater insight into the industry, I feel much better knowing Im being nursed into the ocean rather than diving straight in at the deep end. The students have created a fantastic atmosphere, providing excellent feedback and an enjoyable experience. Roll on next year.
