Videogames are go.

Gerry Anderson, a highly regarded screenwriter, director and producer, most notably associated with his involvement in the popular series Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet in the nineteen-sixties and has had an enormous impact on the gaming industry. A time when espionage was rife, James Bond had hit its pinnacle in popularity upon the release of Thunderball and man first set foot on the moon. It was the birth of futuristic invention and the development of special effects which has paved the way to computer generated imaging and the profession we strive for. The coming of Thunderbirds has influenced generations of futuristic design, the iconic imagery of International Rescues flagship vehicle, Thunderbird 2 has similarities to most spaceships designed in modern sci-fi feature films and videogames. Many of the techniques used in set creation and animation sequences have influenced the development of modern tools. Old fashioned work flows and methods have been conveyed into the digital realms, all thanks to ingenious designers like Derek Meddings and a highly innovative crew. It's only a matter of time before this old classic makes a blockbuster return into the gaming world!
